My Dress Affair - Fashion Brand Photoshoot

My Dress Affair is a dress hire brand based in Sydney that I have been working with for just over 2 years. Hiring allows women to wear high end, expensive dresses, for special occasions at a fraction of the cost it would have been if they had to buy the dress.
I love business models like this as it reduces the amount of waste, both in terms of fast fashion and unnecessary spending.

We shoot every couple of months to update the e-comm photos on the website, and sometimes get the opportunity to shoot some hero shots for website banners and social media content. My favourite photos usually revolve around the environment we are in, where I can step back and show the outfits in interesting locations. I think this style comes from my long time love for landscape and nature photography, and this is my way of bringing that in to portrait and fashion photography. The more interesting the location, the more epic the photographs.
