Emma - Nude Photoshoot

Emma, she is a super lively ball of energy and a lot of fun to work with and be around. I’d worked with Emma before on swimwear shoot we did, and after the shoot we spoke about doing some nude photography so we could get some images that we could send to glamour magazines.

We decided to shoot in her flat, it’s a comfortable environment for her and it was tidy and modern enough for me to work with. The space was a tad small, which made lighting some of the shots a little tricky. I had to use flash because it was quite dark inside, with no natural light which made for some cramped lighting setups, tripping over light stands every time I turned around. Never a dull moment they say.

I remember a distinct moment during this shoot, it was in-between shoots and Emma was looking for a prop, it may have been a book to “read” or a coffee mug to use; I remember realising that I was in her flat changing some lighting and she was very nude, hunting for a prop, and there was nothing unusual or abnormal about it to either of us. It is a weird place to be when you look from the outside in to the situation you are in.
It’s a privilege to have earned the trust to be in that position, both from the model and my fiancé.
